At Another Chance Church of Chicago, our mission is simple yet powerful: to live out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8). We are called to make disciples, spread the gospel, and create spaces for spiritual growth and fellowship. Our goal is to equip believers to walk boldly in their faith and impact the world with the love of Christ.

Pastor Kenyatta Smith 


Pastor Kenyatta Smith Sr. is the Senior Pastor of Another Chance Church in Chicago, IL, where he has served with dedicated leadership and a strong vision for community transformation. He believes the church is not just a place of worship, but an active participant in the life of the city; under his guidance, the congregation not only gathers to worship but also works to build stronger, more self-sustaining neighborhoods.   Raised and rooted in Chicago, Pastor Smith brings local experience and heart to his ministry. He is also a business-savvy entrepreneur, recognizing the intersection of spiritual growth and economic uplift in the community he serves.   In his pastoral role, he emphasizes that “people don’t care what you know until they know that you care,” reflecting his deep commitment to compassion and action rather than simply words.   With his wife, Lady Tabithia Smith and family by his side, Pastor Smith continues to lead Another Chance Church toward being a place of second chances, hope, and meaningful change in the life of Chicago.

First Lady Tabithia Smith 


Lady Tabitha Smith serves with heart and purpose alongside her husband, Pastor Kenyatta Smith Sr. A devoted wife, mother, and ministry partner, she brings warmth, compassion, and a spirit of service to both the church and the broader community.
With a passion for nurturing relationships and empowering others, Tabitha plays a key role in the church’s outreach programs—helping design initiatives that foster hope, support, and transformation. She believes deeply in the power of second chances: guiding individuals toward healing, restoration, and new beginnings.
Grounded in faith, Tabitha balances ministry involvement with her responsibilities as a leader in family life and community engagement. Whether organizing a mentoring circle, coordinating a servant-event, or simply offering a listening ear, she embodies the church’s mission to “be a place of hope and meaningful change” for the city of Chicago.
Tabitha holds that real change begins when people feel seen, loved, and valued—and her life reflects this conviction in every act of service she undertakes at Another Chance Church.
